Why do I get a message 'file not recoqnized' whenever I try to download the mac os 8.6 update?
I have tied to download this file from several sources (including the Apple website) with the same result.
I have successfully downloaded the file previously, but the zip I stored it on became damaged and I need another copy.

I happily updated my OS 8.5 system by downloading your OS 8.6 and installing on my 7500. Installed it successfully then tried to use my QuarkXpress software - horrors - the program opened momentarily then displayed an error message 'cannot open program - error type 2'. My QuarkXpress manual does not list this 'error type 2' Can anyone help? Is there a quickfix? Desperate!
